This is awesome because it allows players to explore more of the map with all their upgrades. There are some really interesting features! For example, there’s an ice cave you can explore to find materials and crystals for upgrades as well as minerals. They also revealed more information in a blog post about the actual map that will be included with this new expansion. You’ll have access to new areas as well! I think it sounds like an amazing addition that is unlike any other expansion released by the Subnautica team. They also talked quite a bit about how you can upgrade your base to survive longer and not freeze to death. In the Below Zero announcement video, they revealed some of what will be in this game. ![]() This new version of the game was made by Unknown Worlds Entertainment after they finished work on Subnautica with the release of the expansion, Below Zero being released as a stand-alone. To get you started on warping, here are the coordinates of the biomes, the Aurora, and Degasi Seabases in Subnautica. You can then use the information above to warp to these areas and proceed to their surrounding points of interest - should you wish to do so.Subnautica: Below Zero was released on January 30th, 2019 for PC and February 9th, 2019 for Xbox One. That said, although you can’t see your coordinates if you’re playing on anything but a PC, as long as you know the coordinates of the location you want to go to, you’re free to warp there. Subnautica also has an option that allows you to warp to anywhere by using an area’s coordinates. The second number will always refer to your depth meter. The same applies to the north and south directions respectively for the third number. If you move towards the east, it will decrease. 0, 0, 0 are also the coordinates for the center of Safe Shallows.įrom this position, if you move towards the west, the first number will increase. Once again, when your coordinates say you’re at 0, 0, 0, that means you’re currently at 0 east/west, 0m from the surface, and 0 north/south. The first number refers to east or west, the second refers to the depth, and the third refers to north or south. The three numbers on your coordinates refer to your position in the world in relation to longitude, depth, and latitude. Simply refer to the “Camera world pos” and you’ll find your current coordinates right beside it. To see coordinates in Subnautica on a PC , press F1 and a console menu will appear on the screen. This means that if you’re playing on PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch, you have to rely on your compass and beacons to navigate the world of Subnautica. This option isn’t available on consoles anymore. You only have the option to see your coordinates in Subnautica if you’re playing on a PC.
